At InfoComm 2026, EAW introduced three new additions to the Newport series: a line array, a subwoofer and a web-based array design tool.
NT208L Line Array
Active line array with two 8-inch drivers
Maximum SPL of 141 dB and low-frequency response down to 50 Hz
Built-in 2,000 W Class-D amplifier
Field-adjustable horn with 80°, 95° or 110° angles
Adjustable Horizontal Directivity (AHD) with four horizontal coverage patterns, no tools required
NT116S Subwoofer
According to EAW, 50 percent more air displacement than a single 15-inch driver
4,000 W peak onboard power, maximum SPL of 135 dB and response down to 25 Hz
Can be flown with the line array using optional rigging
Selectable cardioid mode for stage isolation
Online Array Assistant (OAA)
A browser-based tool that runs on a computer or smartphone. The user enters the number of boxes, the mounting height and the desired coverage area, and the tool provides the inter-box angles, pick points and switch settings.
According to EAW, the cabinets in this series are built from Baltic birch, steel and aluminium, and the built-in Class-D amplifier removes the need for an external amplifier rack.
